Steps
- Open Settings → Integrations and choose Slack.
- Authorize the Sookly app in your Slack workspace.
- Map Sookly inboxes to Slack channels.
- Select notification event types and save.
- Trigger a test conversation and validate formatting and links.
- Reduce noisy events to keep signal quality high.
What success looks like
- Slack notifications appear in the intended channels.
- Team can jump directly to conversations from Slack.
- Alert volume is actionable, not overwhelming.
Common issues and fixes
Issue: No notifications arrive after setup.
Fix: Re-check OAuth authorization and event-channel mapping.
Issue: Too many low-value notifications.
Fix: Limit event scope to high-priority conversation actions.
