Terms of Use

Sookly Terms of Use

These terms explain the basic rules for using the Sookly website and clinic communication service, including connected platforms such as LINE, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram.

Use of the website and service

These Terms apply when you visit sookly.co, join the waitlist, or use the Sookly service. By using Sookly, you agree to these Terms.

Sookly provides tools designed to help clinics manage messages, enquiries, staff handoff, and AI-assisted communication workflows. The service may change as the product develops.

Cookies and similar technologies on sookly.co, the dashboard, and the embeddable chat widget are described in our Cookie Policy at https://www.sookly.co/cookie-policy . Privacy practices are in our Privacy Policy at https://www.sookly.co/privacy .

Accounts and access

If you create or receive access to a Sookly workspace, you are responsible for keeping login details secure and using the account only for authorised clinic or business purposes.

Clinic owners and administrators are responsible for deciding who can access the workspace, what permissions staff receive, and when access should be removed.

Clinic and customer responsibility

Clinics are responsible for the accuracy of their service information, prices, opening hours, policies, staff instructions, response templates, and messages sent to patients or customers.

Clinics are also responsible for their own privacy notices, consents, record keeping, regulatory duties (including Thailand’s PDPA where applicable), and use of connected messaging platforms.

For customer or patient message data in your workspace, you are typically the data controller and Sookly acts as a service provider / processor as described in our Privacy Policy at https://www.sookly.co/privacy.

Connected Meta platforms (Facebook & Instagram)

If you connect Facebook Messenger, Instagram messaging, or other Meta products to Sookly, you must comply with Meta’s applicable terms and policies for that connection. That includes the Meta Terms of Service, Meta Platform Terms, Meta Developer Policies, and any Messenger, Instagram, or Business Tools product terms that apply to your Page or account.

Meta Terms of Service: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms

Meta Platform Terms: https://developers.facebook.com/terms

Meta Developer Policies: https://developers.facebook.com/devpolicy

Messenger Platform and Instagram Messaging API policy: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/messenger-platform/policy/

Sookly provides the inbox and workflow tools. The connected clinic or business remains responsible for lawful messaging, customer notices and consents, obtaining legally sufficient opt-in before proactive outreach where required, honouring blocks and opt-outs, and Meta policy compliance for their Facebook Page, Instagram account, and related customer conversations — including the standard messaging window and correct use of any message tags (Human Agent only for real human follow-up; no spam or unapproved promotions).

Sookly may suspend or disconnect Meta channels if continued use would violate Meta’s terms or these Terms, or if Meta requires us to do so.

How to request deletion of linked Meta messaging data is described in our Privacy Policy and at https://www.sookly.co/data-deletion.

Connected LINE Official Account

If you connect a LINE Official Account to Sookly, you must comply with LINE’s applicable terms and policies, including the LINE User Data Policy and LINE Developers Agreement, and any Official Account or Messaging API terms that apply to your account.

LINE User Data Policy: https://terms2.line.me/LINE_Developers_user_data_policy

LINE Developers Agreement: https://terms2.line.me/LINE_Developers_Agreement_202501

LINE Official Account Guideline (Thailand): https://terms2.line.me/official_account_guideline_th

LINE Official Account Terms of Use (Thailand): https://terms2.line.me/official_account_terms_th

You remain responsible for lawful LINE messaging, customer notices, consents, and LINE policy compliance — including Official Account content guidelines, storage and friend/group information limits in the LINE User Data Policy. Conversation content needed for your inbox may be retained longer than 24 hours as disclosed in our Privacy Policy; friend/group metadata must follow LINE’s stricter limits.

You can disconnect LINE and request deletion of linked data at any time via workspace settings or https://www.sookly.co/data-deletion. Sookly may suspend or disconnect LINE if continued use would violate LINE or these Terms, or if LINE requires us to do so.

Roadmap and other messaging platforms

Sookly may add other channels over time (for example TikTok messaging, Telegram, WeChat, X, LinkedIn, or Reddit). Connecting any such channel means you must also comply with that platform’s terms, developer policies, and privacy requirements.

For reference when those integrations become available: Telegram Bot Developer Terms https://telegram.org/tos/bot-developers; TikTok Developer Terms of Service https://www.tiktok.com/legal/page/global/tik-tok-developer-terms-of-service/en; LinkedIn API Terms of Use https://www.linkedin.com/legal/l/api-terms-of-use; X Developer Agreement https://developer.x.com/en/developer-terms/agreement; WeChat / Weixin platform terms https://developers.weixin.qq.com/miniprogram/en/product/service; Reddit Developer Terms https://www.redditinc.com/policies/developer-terms.

Until a channel is enabled for your workspace, these Terms do not grant rights to that channel’s APIs through Sookly.

Waitlist and early access

Joining the waitlist registers your interest; it does not create a paid subscription or guarantee access on a specific date. We may email you about launch readiness, fit review, or related Sookly updates using the address you provided.

You can ask to stop waitlist emails or delete your waitlist record by emailing privacy@sookly.co or following https://www.sookly.co/data-deletion .

AI-assisted responses

Sookly may provide AI-assisted drafts, summaries, routing suggestions, and workflow support using third-party hosted large language model / generative AI inference providers (API-style). These features assist clinic teams; they do not replace human judgement. Message content may be processed by those providers solely to deliver the feature you use.

Clinics should review AI-assisted content before sending it where the message may affect care, pricing, booking decisions, sensitive information, or customer expectations. Specific AI vendors will be named in our Privacy Policy when a production provider is fixed.

No medical advice

Sookly is not a medical provider and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decision-making.

Clinics and qualified staff remain responsible for any medical, dental, aesthetic, or healthcare-related advice or decisions shared with patients or customers.

Security and personal data incidents

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information processed through Sookly. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

If a personal data incident affects customer or patient message data we process for your workspace, we will notify your clinic or business without undue delay so you can meet controller duties under applicable law (including Thailand’s PDPA expectations for controllers, which often require assessment and, where required, notification of the PDPC and affected people within about 72 hours of becoming aware).

More detail is in our Privacy Policy at https://www.sookly.co/privacy .

Acceptable use

You must not use Sookly for unlawful activity, spam, deceptive messages, harassment, malware, unauthorised scraping, reverse engineering, platform abuse, or activity that interferes with service operations.

You must follow the applicable terms and policies of every connected platform. For Meta see “Connected Meta platforms (Facebook & Instagram)”; for LINE see “Connected LINE Official Account”; for future channels see “Roadmap and other messaging platforms”.

Service availability

Sookly is designed to support reliable clinic communication workflows, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Some interruptions may result from maintenance, third-party messaging platforms, hosting providers, internet connectivity, configuration issues, or events outside our control.

Intellectual property

Sookly and its website, software, design, branding, documentation, and related materials are owned by Sookly or its licensors.

You retain responsibility for clinic content, approved response materials, and customer or patient information that you upload or connect to the service.

Suspension and account closure

We may suspend or limit access if we reasonably believe use violates these Terms, connected-platform rules, law, or puts the service or others at risk. Where practical we will notify the affected clinic or contact.

You may stop using Sookly and ask us to disconnect channels or delete linked data as described at https://www.sookly.co/data-deletion . Paid billing, if introduced later, will be covered by updated Terms or a separate order form; joining the waitlist alone does not create fees.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Sookly is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, loss of goodwill, or loss of data.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the website, service, pricing, or legal requirements change. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify customers or make the updated Terms available.

Continued use of Sookly after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

Contact

For legal questions about these Terms, contact legal@sookly.co. For product or account support, contact support@sookly.co.

Privacy practices are described at https://www.sookly.co/privacy . Cookie use is described at https://www.sookly.co/cookie-policy . Data deletion instructions are at https://www.sookly.co/data-deletion .

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would apply another jurisdiction’s laws. Courts in Thailand have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, unless mandatory consumer or other local law requires otherwise.
